Plastic pollution is a global problem. It is currently one of the biggest environmental concerns. It seems like large amounts of plastic waste are inescapable in the world we live in. It occurs when an enough plastic has piled in an area that it affects the environment and cause harm to plants, animals, and even humans. Plastic pollution seems to be a long-lasting damage to the environment for plastics can take hundreds or even thousands of years to break down.

      Burning of plastics can also lead to air pollution due to the release of poisonous chemicals. The polluted air can cause respiratory problems when inhaled by humans and animals. 

       We are living on planet Earth, the only planet known to have an environment, where air and water are the two basic things we need to have in order for us to live and sustain life. We have to protect our environment because having a healthy environment means having a healthy life.
